Growing up, some of my best memories were made gathering with friends and floating the Guadalupe river on a hot Texas summer day. It was where we laughed, shared stories, and spent long days enjoying the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Even now, the river is where I go to find my peace. Whether I'm floating downstream, sitting on the bank listening to the water, or watching the moonlight dance across the surface, it's where life seems to slow down and everything feels a little simpler.

Some of my favorite evenings are the quiet ones—sitting in my backyard beneath a full moon, taking in the night air, and appreciating the stillness that can be hard to find in everyday life. Those moments remind me that happiness often comes from the simplest things.

I started Moon River Cookie Co. because I wanted to create something that captures that feeling. Warm cookies, made from scratch, meant to be shared after a day on the river, around a campfire, on the porch under the stars, or whenever life calls for a little comfort.

For me, a great cookie isn't just dessert—it's part of those moments we remember. The conversations that go a little longer, the nights we don't want to end, and the simple joys that bring people together.
